Fix Asymmetrical Face

Fix Asymmetrical Face

Today, I'll introduce a new exercise to address facial asymmetry. Please note that this exercise may not work for everyone, as the causes of asymmetry vary. However, it's worth trying to see if it improves your situation. First, squint as much as possible to one side and feel the tightness. Repeat the process on the other side and determine which side feels tighter. Focus on the tighter side for the exercise. Perform a neck stretch by tilting your head down at a 45-degree angle, keeping your shoulders down, and slowly stretching. Be cautious if you have neck pain. Identify the side that feels tighter. Remember, facial asymmetry can result from various factors, such as asymmetrical mandibles and maxillas. This exercise isn't a one-size-fits-all solution, but let's give it a try.

To start, relax your body and lower your shoulders. Place your fingers on your shoulder, focusing on the tighter side. Keep your head straight for now. Lift your face slightly while maintaining a straight head position. Slowly tilt your head to a 45-degree angle, feeling a deep stretch in your neck. Hold this position briefly. Gently return to the starting position. This exercise is effective for addressing asymmetry caused by head rotation. You can perform it on one side or both sides, but finish with the tighter side. Remember to relax your body and count one, two, three before starting. Avoid tilting your head sideways, and instead, maintain a straight head position. Take it slowly to prevent any neck discomfort. Let's practice together again, focusing on your tighter side. Lift your face, then slowly stretch and return. By incorporating this face and neck stretch, you can address asymmetry effectively.
